I’ve been throwing the Fatty since they were first put on the rack at STC. While I won’t give up “the juice”, I’ll just say they can be fished from conventional soft swimbait methods on Weighted Owner Beast hooks to some pretty out of the box techniques that apply to most TVA lakes with heavy vegetation.
I’ve found many times when the STC 7” and 8’ will absolutely get the big bites over other baits. But I slowly figured out that sometimes when those bigger bass won’t eat those, the shorter but tall profile of the Fatty will get chomped. So I keep these on hand at all times. A must have in your soft swimbait arsenal.
